FAQ

Everything you need to know about ordering, shipping, and eating well. Still stuck? Contact the crew — a human answers.

How does shipping work?

Orders are hand-packed and shipped frozen in an insulated liner with dry ice. Most boxes arrive in 1-3 business days after leaving our kitchen. You'll get a tracking link the moment your box ships.

Will my box arrive frozen?

Yes. Everything is flash-frozen at peak freshness and packed with enough dry ice to stay frozen in transit. A little soft on arrival is fine — pop it in the freezer.

Where do you source from?

Pasture-raised beef and pork from family farms, organic poultry, and wild-caught seafood from responsible fisheries. No antibiotics, no added hormones, and no mystery meat — ever.

Can I skip or cancel my box?

Anytime. Manage your plan from your account: skip a delivery, swap proteins, or cancel before your next billing date. No phone calls, no guilt trips.

How should I store everything?

Everything arrives frozen. Store cuts in their packaging up to 3 months in the freezer, or thaw overnight in the refrigerator before cooking. Never refreeze fully thawed raw product.

What if something is wrong with my order?

Tell us within 7 days of delivery with a quick photo and we'll make it right — replacement or refund, your call. We're a small crew and we stand behind every cut.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — orders $99 and over ship free within our delivery zones. Under $99 is a flat $9.95.

How do I cook your cuts?

Every box ships with cut-by-cut cards, and our Recipes page covers the fundamentals — reverse-searing, low-and-slow, and weeknight-fast methods.

Is the packaging recyclable?

The box and paper liner are curbside recyclable in most areas. Coolant packs are non-toxic — let them dissolve down the drain. Food-safe, plant-based, and plastic-light.

When am I billed?

Boxes are billed when they ship, not when you sign up. You'll always see the charge and contents before billing — manage everything from your account.
